Using checklists
What is the difference between a template and an active checklist?
A template is the reusable checklist design. An active checklist is one live run of that template.
Does editing an active checklist change the template?
No. Edit this Instance changes only the active checklist instance. Edit this Template changes future checklist runs.
Can I use OpusHub offline?
Active checklists show offline and sync status. If you make changes while offline, OpusHub tracks pending changes and warns you before leaving the page.
Who can close a checklist?
It depends on the template setting. A checklist can be set so anyone can close it or so managers close it.
Can a checklist have custom fields?
Yes. Templates can include custom text fields. Custom fields can be required and can be visible on active checklists.
Learning Center
What content can be assigned in Learning Center?
Policy documents, procedure documents, company documents, and learning modules can be assigned.
I cannot find an assignment. What should I check?
Check My Assignments in Learning Center. If it is still missing, ask the sender to confirm the assignment audience and due date.
Can notes include images?
Yes. Checklist and task notes support image uploads.
Access and troubleshooting
Why are some menu items missing?
Your role, permissions, organisation, or subscription may not allow those areas. Ask an admin to check your access.
I can only see one checklist after editing a template. What should I do?
Clear any active filters or search terms on the Checklists page. If the issue continues, refresh the page and ask an admin to check whether your checklist list is loading correctly.
I cannot complete a task.
Check whether the checklist is closed, the task is marked not applicable, or you are in edit instance mode.
Mobile checklist editing does not fit on screen.
In edit instance mode, swipe sideways to view all visible custom fields.
Common mistakes
Editing the wrong checklist
Use Edit this Instance for one-off changes to today's active checklist. Use Edit this Template only when you want future checklist runs to change.
Looking for a checklist in the wrong tab
Use Active for live checklist instances. Use Templates for reusable checklist designs.
Forgetting to close a completed checklist
When a checklist reaches 100%, OpusHub asks whether you want to close it. If you cancel, it remains active.
Expecting favourites to change access
Favourites only change your own My Checklists list. They do not give access to anyone else.
Creating assignments without the right audience
Before sending an assignment, check whether it should go to selected users, selected groups, or all users.
